Amsterdam....
Just before the start of school we took off for a few days to the city of Amsterdam.

We found this big sign in a huge park. The guys had fun climbing all over it.

We went to a science museum called "NEMO". We could have been there all day as it was very hands on. There were so many neat experiments and things to learn. The kids loved it...so did mom and dad.

The biggest bubble experiments...

Electricity was flowing through this glass ball. Connor touched my watch when I had my hand on the globe and he said he got burned.
We enjoyed an evening canal cruise. The bridges were so pretty lit up at night.

One day we went to another town called Haarlem. This was where Corrie Ten Boom lived. We enjoyed a tour of the house. This closet was where the Jews were hidden. There were 6 people crammed into this little closet area for 3 days. I don't know how they did it!

We took a 1/2 day tour to visit a clog making factory, a cheese factory and a fishing village with windmills.
